And the season draws to a close, you couldn’t have written a TV soap script with the twists and turns this year. Not sure what the weather will do but a wet weekend should suit Glen Irwin more than Tommy Bridewell but who knows. I’ll be marshalling at Post 19 at the end of the Cooper Straight, unfortunately not accessible to the viewing public but if you are infield, you can give us a wave from Surtees If you are going, have a great weekend. Andy
Tickets booked ages ago, going up Friday night in the campervan . Hope the weather is better than July was .
Going old skool pay on the gate with the old man. Got to grab these opportunities while you can (a day out with my Dad not the joy of no fkn e tickets and such like of course). Unless I’m feeling extra generous we will be roving. I would love to see a non beer monster champion but appreciate that it’s highly unlikely so will be cheering for the least irritating accent. Enjoy everyone
Whatever happens, whoever wins, my hope is that it is raced out fairly to the end. If we are really lucky, it will keep us all on the edge of our seats to the last push to the line on the final race, just as it did back in 2011.
I saw that mentioned by the 44Teeth boys. It will be interesting to see how he does. A World Champion’s always a World Champion.
What on earth has happened to Irwin?! 3 secs off the pace and did 6 laps!! Bridewell’s to lose at the mo….sneaky little hope for Haslam to somehow win although my hope to win all season has been Ryde.
After today’s race I could see the PBM boys taking each other out again tomorrow and Kyle Ryde suddenly leading the championship. It’s shaping up to being a seriously close finish!
I’ve said on another thread I’d love to see Ryde win it but I think the O show will win at least one of those races tmrw. This is huge too
