Pffft! All Blacks had it covered all game , only doing just enough to win and not show their hand .

 

Great game for the neutrals, wanted Ireland to win for the N. Hemisphere. Wales weren’t good enough, hopefully England will be for the next match.

 

So frustrating for us. In so many ways, Ireland didn’t perform, but were still in it right to the death.

Hope the All Blacks go on to win it now.

Who’d have thunk England would be last home

 

Ireland were the United Kingdom's best hopes for the title, but didn't perform as well as previous matches. Their lineouts and scrummaging were poor plus they're always behind on the scoreboard which didn't help matters.
The TT boys moan about every twelve months for the next round but four years is a longtime in the rugby world with players retiring and restructuring teams etc.
So the All Blacks are in the final as i don't see Argentina beating them. I fancy England for their next match but whos knows as i thought Wales should've won their match.
One thing for me is clearly obvious is that the referee and the TMO need a block booking at Specsavers with the errors they made during this touranment.!

I believe that the Ireland Rugby team is made of players from both the Republic and Northern Ireland.
So, that comment potentially has some truth but may raise a couple of eyebrows south of the border.

 

And Kiwi’s according to the BBC.

 

It may do but it’s my understanding that if you’re born either North or South of the border you are entitled to a passport from Ireland?

On a side note I can’t believe this competition is still on going, there’s only 20 teams in it at the start. I fairly sure the football World Cup didn’t take this long……

England through but only just after those two late tries, we kept the scoreboard ticking over unlike Ireland and that was the difference in winning or losing the match.
