1260 California Scientific - Screen

  1. @Biot mentioned this screen in a post back in 2021. Since then, I can't find any mention of them on this forum.

Has anyone got one fitted and any comments?

I'm running the Puig sports screen with the Iconic spacers but it only really shields my neck and chest. But it's more than the PP screen and I've done a 12 hour stint with it and had no complaints. But I'm open to more comfort on longer tours.

  2. I had one fitted on my original 1200 multi which I got cheap on eBay . It was incredibly quiet and no buffeting BUT it was HUGE, the top of the screen came back so far I though it was going to touch my helmet.

Sold it and went down the standard screen with Wunderlich deflector route for touring and Pikes Peak for local runs which works for me.

  3. I’m 6’1 and have a large screen on my 2017 DVT with the low seat. Works great.

  4. My CalSci screen worked really well on my old 1200. It did get close to my helmet a few times. Had the 3 hole spacer do daa’s as well. Yes it was huge but worked:upyeah:
