  2. Weird that it has pillion pegs, but no pillion handles. Is that even legal?

  3. Indeed! I lost a few people off the back of my 350LC in the 80's due to no pillion handles!

  5. Appreciate we haven’t all the info but looks like SP2 money but no carbon wheels, no carbon clutch cover, no rearsets, no brushed ally tank but have got red calipers :( Hope there's more....

  6. Hopefully the 'more' part is BHP, needs to be over 200 to make it interesting.

  7. It won't be

  8. Yes, but the Pani derived Stradale's have desmo heads/valve action. The GT version has springs

  9. Yep, I'm hoping there's some hidden goodies, as I'm not feeling it at the moment. The lack of the red frame is disappointing. Maybe there'll be two colour options!

  10. I like it, but I started to post yesterday that the GT engine should be capable of having the Desmo heads put in place, and lighten the flywheel and counter balancer which should allow for increased rpm. Then someone just needs access to the ecu to adjust the tune to get the rpm and horsies

Once my mechanic has the chance to go over the details, he and I will talk upgrage the PP vs swapping to the RS

  11. It might have grab handles but seemingly no provision for a top box. The colour on the rear section is interesting, looks good.

I’m sticking with the PP though.

  12. The rear section looks like it blanks off the pillion handles/ top box mount, so am sure that could be swapped out easily enough. Putting a top box on this would be an absolute travesty though!

Looking at the pictures above, it doesn’t look as special as the PP, but let’s see what the final pictures look like tomorrow.

  13. Still not quite sure where people think they are going to be using more power.

The only place you could use it is on track and if track riding is your thing there are far far better bikes for doing that!

  14. Agree though not really the point. If it was all about bhp, 99% of riders would be on sub 100bhp machines

  15. It's not really a case of using it, just having it. I used to be happy with 85bhp on my Multi DS, having my 186bhp track bike for the big speeds/thrills. My 1200 is perfectly capable of keeping up with my riding mates V4 Pikes Peak on Sunday morning road riding and touring but, 200bhp would be pretty amazing to have on tap.

  16. Can’t see you would notice more power on the UKs overcrowded roads.
I’ve put my V4S in urban mode a number of times and in all honesty it’s hard to notice the difference in power.

  17. Find quieter roads!

  18. The quieter roads are still out there, just got to go out at silly o'clock on a Sunday morning although, the police are also getting out with their speed guns at silly o'clock, they were seen at 8am on a popular mid Wales route last Sunday and earlier on previous weekends.
