I'd say looking at the extensive range of vehicles he has for sale it is almost certainly a scam. Haven't seen these types of scam on ebay for a while now. Were very common a couple of years ago.
I was at my independent dealer yesterday picking up my 748 and he had a Matrix in there, was the first time I’ve seen one and I must say it looked great, as already said not seen scams like this for a while.
Like some things in life i wasn't taken by the photographs, until when i first laid my eyes on one in the flesh, then they look a picture.
My view ebay is that they are clueless operators these days, i'm always carrying out a 25 / 50 radius search for ease of say collection etc, but Chinese companies still come up....always scroll down and you'll see their name bottom lhs.

Not surprised, IMO, asking prices have been unrealistically inflated for several years. Another issue I learned the other month, the diminishing numbers of Ducati accredited service technicians, probably now fewer than 5 in the UK. Andy
