  1. This was the brake fluid……

  2. I rate the Michelin Pilot Power 2CT for this bike, I put stickier stuff on the bigger bikes, but for the power output of the SS range these work really well...(and better than the Pirelli equivalents) :upyeah:

  3. Thanks! They get good reviews, I was also looking at M7RR Metzelers as I used to love the old CompK options back in the 90s.

  4. Great pics....keep em coming

  5. More stuff done today. New tyres are waiting at my local tyre place so it was time to get the wheels off. Then decided a few more bits needed cleaning…….

  6. I don’t suppose anyone would have a spare front mudguard screw would they? Don’t really want to buy 10 of them

  7. Might have. I'll take a look.

  10. Hi, sadly I don't have any spare mudguard fasteners. I've only got the odd spare fairing screw. PXL_20231017_135713031.MP.jpg

  11. Thanks for looking! I will use a button head for the mo and get one when I get a chance

  12. I have Michelin 2CT on my 750SS, and I rate them very highly. Stable in a straight line, nice neat turn in and really good grip and traction. They don't seem to be wearing badly, either. Give them a go

  15. Next up is a fork oil change. 99% sure the fork oil is a minimum of 20 years old so overdue a change.

Manual I have says 7.5w (medium-light). What have otherwise that worked well? Also, roughly how much does each leg take? The manual states 380ml, but guess that is from empty. Ideally I would like to give them a flush but at £18 a litre I don’t want to waste a bottle of oil just for a flush really.

  16. Have I taken up home brewing? Nope, but I think it’s fair to say the Ducati was ready for a fork oil change. The weird thing is the difference between the two old oils. I guess it’s had a fork seal at some point and they were two lazy to change the oil in the other fork.
