Just an observation - 7 beers in So you park up your 120 grand RS6 and jump on your 32 - 35 grand Mutley RS. Didn't quite work our on the Lambo Diavel. What's next - park up your Audi Q2 and jump on your Scrambler RS Not to be too cynical
The demo video shows the rider doing a burnout. Do they not know how much a new set of tyres are currently??!!
The Multi V4 should have had this engine from the start. I have a Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak and a Monster 1200R. I saw no reason to change to the V4. Even now with this better engine I'm not that exited, but it's a big improvement albeit not considering the trade-up cost. The Multi V4 has become too big and heavy for me. The MTS 1260 is big enough already. Although it still looks amazing, I would replace the tall and heavier Multi with a lighter 200 hp SuperSport V4 If Ducati ever built one. Desmosedici Stradale engine of course, Ohlins, forged wheels with SSSA. Plus the usual's: Heated grips, cruise and QS. Compatible pannier with the 1260 would be useful. An accurate speedometer would be nice for a change. User re-settable oil change warning is not too much to ask for.
Notice the new RS has the open/close wind deflectors, larger tank phone holder and the rear subframe has heat shields, presume now standard across all 2024 Multistrada’s ?
Oh I’m tempted. But am being sensible for a change. And I’ve told the wife that Christmas is back on, so that’s that.
I was slightly tempted until a quick chat with my mechanic said he can get more hp out of my Pikes Peak. At that point it was a no go for me
A V4 SF SP is cheaper than the Multi RS. If you want relative comfort and big hp numbers, I would have thought that was a better buy.
Racing exhaust is now on the configurator. Same part number as the PP version. Its not a full system.
