Monster 1200s Torque Setting

    This should be an easy one
    What’s the torque setting for the rear eccentric hub pinch bolt

  4. The manual says how to set the chain tension and says to ensure the bolt is set to the correct torque…..doesn’t say what that torque setting is
    Although it does say get it set by Ducati Dealer

  5. Monster1200R is 40nm.
    That's what I torqued mine to anyway.

  6. I think it's the same for the humble 1098! The 1-2-1 bit is important

  7. It’s a single torx torqued up to 40Nm.

  9. Every day is a school day. Didn’t know the Monster 1200 single sided swing arm only had one pinch bolt for the eccentric. Andy

  12. I have a Monster 1200S Stripe and I have the workshop manual so I'm pretty sure of my ground.
