Alex Rins going back under the knife again and likely to miss the end of season test too. Alex Rins set for surgery again; will miss Thailand MotoGP | MotoGP | News (crash.net) Could be a busy few days for Cal and FQ.* Shame Toprak is off to BMW otherwise he might have been in line for another crack. *edit, at the test, not Thailand
I'm sure there was a very good reason Toprak wasn't offered or declined a move the Yamaha MotoGP but I don't think even he would have made the M1 work. Something about not being able to making a silk purse out of a sow's ear Andy
Yes agreed , just would have been a nice end of season reward for the peoples champion and would have been nice to see if he could improve on the previous (pretty slow) times he set.

I hear the TNT commentators are touting Fabio Quartararo for MM’s seat at Honda for 2024. Talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire Andy
At least Honda have bothered to put 4 bikes on the grid. Double the chances of someone making it work or finding "the problem".
Martin’s unreal. He seems to be fast at every circuit - it’s just a question of whether or not he finishes the race.
Fastest rider on the grid, no doubt. Just needs to use his race craft and not take risky decisions on tyre choice.
The pressure's on Pecco, based on the sprint race and where he finished perhaps his brain is like this at the minute...
Absolutely sensational race, shame the marquez brothers got in the way of Pecco early on, it looked like he couldnt quite get as much traction out of the corners to properly challenge Binder and Martin at the end there. If Martin does go on and win the title he will certainly have deserved it. Pecco's won the last two times at Valencia though! No idea who my money's on right now.
I said to Mrs Jb this morning that MM might still have an influence on the championship. If things go to the wire, that early tussle getting past Marc could have been costly. Assuming he could have got in the mix earlier and made it count… Either way, a brilliant race. It makes it so much more interesting not having the season already wrapped up. From a spectator point of view, hope things go to the last Sunday race in Valencia. That would be awesome!
What an absolutely stunning race. I don’t often shout at the TV… Binder’s last lap demotion was a potentially significant bonus for Pecco.

I must be missing something…. Just don’t see GP as that interesting anymore but clearly it’s just me haha there were pockets of good scraps but largely for a dozen laps it was the top 3 just doing race rhythm laps just far enough behind each other that the aero and the tyres didn’t effect things
It has been a bit processional over the last few rounds admittedly but I genuinely got a little shiver when Martin crossed the line I felt like id really watched something special. It was like the perfect championship storm and with Binder in the way. Im so looking forward to seeing alvaro in malaysia too. He could quite easily throw a spanner in the works, spain v Italy etc…
