  1. sevaral bits of info....

maybe just maybe your 'excess' speed drew his attention, and then there he has 'an offence' and reason to check you out! secondly that then means he has to catch you up, thirdly he would of then run your number through a variety of data bases, which as im sure you are legit would of been a negative, and then lastly given the time of day just by speaking to you would of been enough to confirm you wernt pissed, so a bit of rollicks about speed and of go get another one....as i understand it it can be quite cunning to play the dum traffic cop some times, you think they are being crap just banging on about speed, when really he has completed several more proper checks got a negative so off he toodles.......

  2. Do you think he might have been James Bond? I think so!

  3. who mat or the cop.............just trying to give you a reasoned explaination and you still want to jump down my throat.....and you wonder why i stick with the cynical rollox

  4. Andy, I's just playing with you here.
OK, I'll say it - you've been very communicative today, in an understandable way, and it's been very appreciated.

I was kidding anyway, everyone knows that Matt is James Bond.

  5. Calm down Mr Sensitive. Are your garters chafing again..?

  8. Phew!

  9. All valid points  Oh I forgot to mention, I was following him for 4 miles before I passed after being stationary at some lights. For anybody who regularly drives at that time of the morning (me five days a week - every week) the people who stand out are the jokers doing 30mph trying to avoid attention. Never works

  16. It made sod all difference on my journey up the M4 to Cardiff this evening. Woman and 4 cars following at 60 up the middle lane. Empty lane 1. Rammed lane 3.

  17. I'll tell you what'll happen. The sweeney, such as they are, will swoop on the tailgaters because they are easier prey (and know they're doing wrong) and ignore the middle lane mob, because trying to explain to them that they're breaking the law will be too much like hard work. Undertaking will soon be punishable by death.

  19. Hint please?

A noisy bike with smallish plate at 4am. Rider fully kitted out like power range.

    Actual speed in 30 zone:

    A) 30
    B) 40
    C) 50
    D) 60

Which one sticks out the most, I would say 40 you Andy?
