  2. Oh yeah 5th gear is occasionally false even after 66,000miles.

  3. I have had a couple of interesting moments ,when making a lot of progress ,changing down for bend and hitting a false neutral :D

  4. I wonder if that is a common finding? Any of the false neutrals I have come across have been on the upshift.

  5. I bought my Multistrada 1200 from new in 2010. It has covered approx. 30000 miles.
Would like to see new design for fuel sender, i'm on my third.
But the most irritating, problem is the exhaust butterfly valve. It started sticking at year 5, and is now stuck solid.
I find this design where the bearing surfaces are made of the same material. Should have had a sacrificial surface made from a slightly softer material. Or better still, designed to be easily replaceable. I have currently set the butterfly in the open position and disconnected the actuator cable and fitted a spring to it to prevent any error messages. But during latest MOT, received an Advisory for a noisy exhaust. So for future MOT's, just disconnecting the actuator cable my not be sufficient.

  6. The exhaust valve seized open on my GS 5 years ago. Have a road legal Ti Scorpion end can in it and local BMW dealer always puts “loud exhaust” down at MOT test. Always passes though:imp:

  7. Never had any on the upshift ,and changing down now i make sure it is a positive shift ,

  8. Corrosion. Whoever is in charge of coatings at Ducati needs taking round the back and given a fucking good kickin...

  9. Announcing a series 2 limited edition while you’re waiting for your series 1 version to be delivered? The frequency of SE models needs to slow down e.g street fighter sp2 being revealed while some customers hadn’t taken delivery of their sp1!

  11. On the 899,1199 etc the clutch push rod seal is internal so you need to split the cases to change it. Stupid design.

  12. It's probably already been posted but the heat in traffic on a warm/hot day is a bit uncomfortable.

  15. A seat that does not kill all of the nerves in your backside in 1 hour.
And I would like to be able to reset the service light also.

  16. Yes and bolts not made out of putty, that strip the heads as soon as you look at them.

  19. That they don't make a big v twin supernaked. After a couple of years on a v4 streetfighter, I've swapped it for a 1290 superduke r cause I missed a v twin
