Not ebay and seems very cheap for 996r. Never heard of Team bikes, apparently Ducati sold 150 for race teams?
Yeah way too cheap for that mileage and condition if true, that pricing upsets the market for sure.! Also correct for the 150., mine is outside the top yoke numbered version.
@Kevin Tallant I would have not shared that ad and already been at the guys door with cash! Just by the pictures, I can tell you it's authentic. As mentioned, there are 150-200 non-serialised bikes, like all 60 of the US bikes for example (although this was due to being non-emissions compliant in the US). A non-serialised 996R just means it spec'd from new for non-road use, ie; no headlights, taillights, turn signals, kickstand, mirrors, choke switch, etc. etc. but many owners and dealerships added the parts so they could be street ridden.
Not eBay, but I wonder what this 916 SP will go for? https://www.carandclassic.com/aucti...=website&utm_medium=email&utm_source=sendgrid
Some of those ducati went for reasonable prices I was watching (and bidding on) the RGV250 that has been stood for many years, that sold (Inc. commission) for more than an identical one, currently on ebay, which has been fully recommissioned, and about £300 less than a fully running Lucky Strike colours model
Some good stuff here as well. https://www.handh.co.uk/auction/search/?sto=0&au=526&sf=[]&w=False&pn=1&mc=5
Mates bought a few bike from these, think he's lost money on everyone after getting them back on the road. They seem to go for top dollar considering they are insurance loss vehicles. Probably OK if you want a rider & you can insure them.
I’ve bought quite a few bikes from them, never had a problem but recently prices have gone a bit silly. They are no different to insure that any other bike.
To be fair I've only ever seen car insurance problems with cat system (even with engineers report) Mate bought Honda 125 & 660 in summer, only required a few parts to sort. Buyers seemed harsh and he took haircut on both, think prices where very high to start with
Yeah there is no money to be made from repairing and selling on now unfortunately, I’ve watched a few go through for around £500 less than you could buy the same bike undamaged! I buy and repair them to keep so the resale value doesn’t bother me.
this could be interesting - £3K with approx 3 days to go https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/11597453...h3/bNVsnrTn2MkCv0b6MwxrG/M|tkp:Bk9SR5CdyZb7Yg
A little 600 Monster action Yellow frame though, although I read of far worse things being done to Monsters by their cruel and heartless owners. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/29604102...Jzc7rX3kv1UaRkAjnCsuhesA==|tkp:Bk9SR-KR6Jj7Yg
I’d been watching that but it’s already overpriced in my opinion, by the time you have rebuild or replaced the engine it won’t be any cheaper than a fully working equivalent.
Not on eBay, found this on a dealers website. Looks like a beautiful 1199R: £14995, Ducati Panigale 1199R (Aero Kit, Immaculate, Original) 2013 13 Reg – Sargents of Sussex
