Trying to decide if my Schiit stack needs an upgrade or not. Currently have a Bifrost 2 and Valhalla 2 combo into Sennheiser HD650's. I'm tempted to change headphones first, not sure though.
I just noticed both Wolves and Villa are in the top flight again! I wish I could care less about Chelsea these days (correct usage), but it became irrelevant years ago. At least if I still knew the guy who was on AOL, who was also a Spurs fan, I could rib him about losing 4-1; but I'll have to settle for the vicarious sense of superiority over supporters of teams from in and around Brum because I'll always know enough to be surprised on finding any of them in the top flight. Derek Doughnut was good though. German Wolf Packs, when they were in port, enjoyed doughnuts; which would be brought aboard in a large carton known colloquially as an 'Admiral'.
Just paid £61 for a Driver’s Medical so in theory, I can keep my C1 and D1 entitlement beyond my 70th birthday. Andy
Two strange things happened to me yesterday, i jumped onto a red bus with a friend from New Malden to Kingston and then grabbed a Wendy's cheese burger as it was a few stores away from the building society, it's a longtime since i'd a bus ride and a Wendy's, the burger was great as i remembered when up in London all those years ago but they didn't take cash so he paid. As for the bus ride it was overcrowded on the lower deck going there and spitting feathers how i got hoodwinked into this mission, but on the return trip i was upstairs in the bay window which help matters. I sat on the computer at 11.50 trying to decide whether or not to pay the outrageous £12.50 ULEZ charge or wait if they spotted me and send me a stupid overinflated fine...........paid as i don't need the hassle.! The long and the short of it was, it was a different day to what i'd planned so that made a change.
Down in Devon clearing out my Mums bungalow as she’s had to go into a care home. Popped in to see her and got a smile for the selfie, even though she’s pretty frail. Also discovered some very dodgy family photos of me in my youth.
I took my older brother up to the Metro centre for his birthday, said that he’d like a couple of LP’s as he’s still into his classic vinyl stuff, bought him Slipknot and Black Sabbath Anybody else on here still listening to Black Sabbath ffs !! As for the Metro centre itself,…..my idea of Hell on Earth, absolutely rammed, seems like nobody works anymore ??
Gave up on the Sabbath thing many years back, although I did get a free ticket to see them play a few years ago Too many double denim, long haired, head-banging grandads for comfort.
