  1. £130 for a bike cover on a 12 grand single cylinder bike lol.
    No shame.

  3. i remember how they listened to punters with varying leg-lengths (vertically challenged) in the past so it's nice to see them catering for varying arm lengths (horizontally limb challenged) now. :upyeah:

  4. Ducati made a 700 cc engine in 2008 with 80 hp at 9000 rpm and 69Nm of torque at 7750 rpm and put it in a bike weighing 161 Kg.
    It sold for £5000 ish

Now they're making 700 cc engine with 77.5 hp at 9750 rpm and 63Nm of torque at 8000 rpm and put it in a similar bike weighing 151Kg.
    Cost £12000

    Is that progress?

  5. I have no problem at all with single cylinder bikes (or making bikes for short arses) but 12 grand and a whole libraries worth of after market add ons isn't exactly going to encourage the younger generation to get on a motorbike is it? (which i thought was the point of it, maybe i missed the mark?)

I would have thought thats going to be a very slender market they find themselves in now?

    (Great pic btw)

  6. It’s inflation for certain.

  7. Euro compliance probably did for the old engine.

  8. And the Ukraine war

  9. was being tongue in cheek of course, bikes like these give your upper body and arms an even greater workout if driven hard because you have nothing to help you stop sliding up and down the saddle. so not for me for this reason alone.

  10. I doubt the UK figures much in any motorcycle manufacturers minds, we are such a small market compared with the rest of Europe, N/S America and the Far East.

  11. I’ve not noticed as much sliding around as I expected, maybe I’m not riding hard enough given I’m mostly riding with my Son on his 125.:)

For sure when I had my Hypermotard stuck up top at 100plus it wasn’t that great keeping your head on your shoulders.

It’s price tags puts me off, too expensive especially against say the Husq 701.

  14. Let's be honest. the human race will not survive another 1000 years. It will do well to survice 100 as it is.

  18. Most memorable part of the film when first seen for me, seeing kids laughing and shooting each other with toy guns is a clue for all to see.
