It’s not our birthdays for another month, but this was the only Sunday me and a very good friend could squeeze in before Xmas.
not so much din dins, but dessert sorted for a few da.. weeks. Bramley Apple pies from the garden (we have a pastry tree also)
Had apple pie for ‘afters’ yesterday, MrsGC was disgusted by the amount of double cream I poured on mine. It’s like custard right, you can’t have too much? Quality bit of baking right there though.
Doing a mid week roast as it’s been pissing down all day, followed by cold beef and horse radish butties for later (the best bit)
We’re embracing Diwali so have ordered an Indian takeaway. In reality, we wanted an excuse to have a proper curry with all the trimmings, which we haven’t had for months, so the stars were aligned!
