On the plus side theyve just said they'll be covering the first 2024 test next Tuesday, all 8 odd hours of it. That'll put hairs on your chest!! Fabio up the sharp end in fp1 be good to see the Yamaha win at least one race before the season comes to a finish.
Baggy doing things the hard way again. Just as well he goes in with good buffer. Digi may be on a VR46 next year. I hope so.
Interesting to hear M Lav talking about trying to jump his team to ktm, wonder where that will put him in new parts priority list next year. Also as much as I’ve cringed/lol’ed at Sam lowes almost metronomic crashes over the last couple of years, it would be nice to see him on the podium in his final race probably had one of the best GP careers of any Brit over the last few decades, sadly.
Also the bt crew talking about a transfer window which I was earlier this year and still am hugely in favour of. You just know 2 rounds into next year contract nonsense will start and bore everyone to tears again. Especially with so many seats seemingly up for grabs. Make it stop please.
Moto 2 & Moto GP races are live on ITV4 on Sunday. Look at this post on Facebook https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/1...t8EnzJe4SuniDf8FfJq2_bXAo#lpd1c25sf0apntf3fsa
Brilliant sprint race. Start of the season I thought they (sprint races) were a disaster, converted now. Martin v Marquez next year? They were laughing at the end of the race about MMs tyre rubber on Martin’s shoulder. Brilliant to see that level of commitment from Jorge, no backing out!
Another brilliant race, anything could have happened..and did. 4 months without motogp is going to be a miss. …need to check motogp fantasy league now.
Pecco showing his class and why composure always comes out on top. How good was it to see 120k people there and the grandstands packed (they cant all have been there to see VR46 ) Wonder how 93's gonna feel tomorrow too, that was the icing on a big slice of shit cake hes been chewing on all year. Shame etc..
Shame about Dixon not holding onto 3rd, but not entirely un-expected. Aldegeur came at that whole moto2 field like an express train the last couple of months. Very impressive.
Superb season. In all classes. Where will Digi be though in 2024? He has become (very) quick, smooth and looks after his tyres. Tyres having been a huge factor in this years motogp and I expect next year too. Gresini letting the wrong one go? …edit…Gresini must have a container load of fairings on order. Marquez brothers could be a real crash fest!
I wonder if they'll ever move Valencia to another slot on the calendar. I know youe always guaranteed a larger than usual crowd there but its a truly dreadful track to host that kind of spectacle (see also moto 2 which was probably the most boring race of the season across all three classes). Probably not a lot you can do about it though especially with the new(ish) flyaway rounds.
Definitely and was great to see Ayumo grab that win in m3 today, small consolation id imagine but enjoyable all the same.
When are the usual lot going to be along blaming that one on Marquez? Because you know he’s really dangerous always taking people out
Marquez was involved in 2 incidents in today’s race, one with Bezzeci and one with Martin. TNT didn’t show the MM/MB incident and MM himself in interview dismissed is as ‘that’s Bezzeci’. The JM/MM incident looked like a shit bike being ridden over its limits holding up a rider on a faster bike, desperately needing to get past. For me, the argument is, should a rider who has not made an impact on the top spots by the end of the season, ruin a rider’s race who has. Clearly for the likes of Binder and Marquez (and a certain Moto3 rider), the answer is yes. Andy
Jorge Martin could have waited to do that overtake, rather than ramming Marquez (who was merely racing his race). Then, he may have had a chance at the championship. Never mind, that’s racing.
