I’ve ridden both extensively, I was out at Jerez on a 675r doing 10+ lap stints at a time, then had a go on a mates v2 and after 4 laps I was blowing out my bum…. Back on the 675 and I was fine. That said I lapped as fast on the Ducati without pushing as hard because it’s just a decent step quicker, it’s in reality 20hp up I would say.
yeah, you need to google a bike before you start doing loads of track time on it haha! Bit like R1’s and Fireblade/GSXr gearboxes with quick shifters haha
Yeah. I agree. The 675’s are ace on track, brilliant on brakes and in corners. The V2 is not as intuitive but ultimately it is a lot faster once you get used to it.
you always just have that feeling with a 675 that it will write you a letter before it does anything you don’t expect… the Panigale I think is super rewarding but like for example on the brakes they are so damn physical… that said, my mate did manage to enter orbit highsiding the 675 onto the back straight at Jerez, I believe it sent him the letter but it must have gone to the wrong address
