Brembo Rcs Corsacorta Master Cylinder

  1. Has anyone fitted the RCS19 CorsaCorta master cylinder to improve brake feel and if so did you have to replace the original switch unit ?

  2. I have fitted standard RCS19 to 1098 and needed to fit new switch.

  3. Thanks, did the RCS give a more positive feel and what switch did you fit, I’m looking at the WRS switch.

  4. When I put a Costa Coffee mc on my GSXR track bike it came with a brake light switch. It was a simple job to wire up (I used to get it mot’d in full road trim).
I ran it in the track (race) setting and it was very good. Having said that I never felt the need to change the MC on my subsequent track bike, a v2 Pani. The brakes on that (with the right pads) were phenomenal.

  5. How did you plug it in, Rich?

  6. The connector supplied did plug into the Suzuki loom but not firmly (it did not clip in). I held it firm with insulating tape. Good enough for a track bike and it held no worries for a full season and an MOT at the end.

  7. I meant the Costa Coffee machine! But thanks anyway… :p

  8. I’ve always just used a banjo pressure switch. Maybe a tad ugly but does the job.

  9. I believe the OP was referring to changing the start/stop switch, rather than the brake light switch.

@Keith W Rose - I fitted a start/stop switch from WRS, I do not recall the brand but it was around €90 a few years back.

  10. Doh!!
    Stupid me. :joy:
I fitted a Ducabike throttle switch to my v2 that got rid of the start/kill switch cluster. Not a fan of their stuff normally but their switches are made by Jetprime. So ok. Gives a lot more room on the clip in to position the brake lever exactly where you want it.

  11. Leave me alone. I’m having a senior day. :D

  12.
  13. Thanks for the info, pricing up the options

  14. Here’s a shot of the space you get with the aforementioned switch.

  15. Here’s the one I have. The switches are integrated into the master cylinder bar clamp.

  16. I’m looking at a similar switch with the DPL button .

  17. No idea what a DPL button is - my 1098 doesn’t have any of that witchcraft on it.

  18. Ducati power launch, I haven’t had the balls to use it lol

  19. The standard rcs is better than the corsa corta tbh

I know so many people who’ve had issues with corsa corta (me included) including brake failure.

For ‘off the shelf’ stuff, Acossatto is better
