Me too, rang them directly. See some of you there then. Hope the weather is better than last time. Best, Ian
Just been speaking to wilf at MR. Ducati put out an email yesterday apparently saying that if any standard bike, not sure if they were referring to the 1199 fails the noise test they will refund them. Also h said that the noise test for 1199 is supposed to be a ride by, not static as the bike will fail static but pass ride by.
Think will give TDO and MSV a call as I am boarder line with baffles in at 102 If I take them out that's a total different story 109 . Certainly parts the traffic in morning rush hour lol
35. Helmet and glove try out session (bring your favourite helmet and love and convince others yours are the best).
Didn't say they did. Can't see dealers saying to customers "Of course we can sell you these £1500 cans but you can't use them on our official trackdays, or indeed most others"
Donnington on 12 Sept @ £149 look like a winner. MSV tested my Panni at 107db @ Cadwell on Monday, then 98db on Tuesday. 105db days for me.
This thread relates to two different Ducati track days at Brands: Indy Circuit on 27/8 GP Circuit on 9/9 Who is going to which one? Unfortunately I will be in Miami on business for 3 weeks in Sept so cannot do the GP event however, always up for a boring old "mickey mouse Indy" so would be good to go if there's some fellow Forum people going (especially since I am currently missing the Snett event as I write). Cheers, RX
sounds like an excellent plan! Is it a Ducati day tho? It's not listed as such on their website. Not that it matters too much. They're extremely well run.
Jerry I'm doing the one at Brands on the 27th. I was led to believe it was a Ducati day, although as you say there is no mention of that on the MSV site. Hope to see you there.
Don't forget what you were told yesterday John.Into Paddock at 130 plus and crank the b+++++d over.Simples
The Tues 27th day on the Indy track was a combined clubs (DOCGB/DSC/UKMOC/SDC) day but as it didn't hit the 50 required bookings before end of July it has been opened up to all makes by MSV.
Sometimes the price is just far too high for us Northerners. Anyway I usually have a nose bleed once I go South of Warwick these days. I was quoted £229 with a 20% discount (I think). Not much of a discount and encouragement to attend when it's 2 nights in a B&B + 500 miles round trip from Manchester + £150 or more in fuel. There'll be other factors too. Holidays/ kids of school etc, etc. No doubt it'll rain and you'll need a boat, a bit like Donnington in May. So can fully understand why less than 50 have booked.
