Thank you I have not had a chance to ride 1199 but agree that the Tamburini bikes are real gems to own and to ride, but there is a kind of character similarities between 996 and 1299. I am looking forward to see what the 1299 is like in the 7k to redline if it has a same power surge like on the 996
My 1299 was by far the best bike I’ve ever owned and ridden. Absolutely loved it. Would have had another straight away after that pesky Deer seamed to like it as much as me and tried to jump aboard but insurance was just far too much after that incident. One day I’ll have another, so the Monster will do for now. In the warm weather, the handling is sublime and power delivery is awesome. A great bike and on an average ride I’d clock 300+ miles a day no problem.
