  4. LOL. Well I went to Shaw to meet Dangerous Jim and his friend Terry (very interesting fella) and by the time I got there it was 10am and it was pissing down.

We headed north with the plan to get to Harrogate by about 11am. Anyway on the way Jim decided he was starving so we stopped at Sawby (I think) and had a coffee and a cooked breakfast :upyeah:

From there we headed to Wigglesworth, Settle, Sedburgh, Hawes and then finally Devils Bridge. The weather wasn't brilliant and it did rain off and on making the roads a bit wet but they were drying as the time went on. And by the time we got to Devils the weather was sunny and warm and the road was great

From there I headed back via Skipton, Keighley, Halifax and Huddersfield.

Eva is now washed, polished and back in the garage.

We did a couple of hundred miles and had fun. It's been a good day

ps. Sorry we didn't make it to Harrogate but I didn't have anyone's number so couldn't call/text to let you know.

  7. Glad you got out and had a good time. Rain seemed to start about 5 miles west of H'gate, so once we got to Pateley it was all dry for us!

  8. Thanks for making the effort Ben it was a decent little run today & good to meet a few new faces, glad you had a good day too Terry, till the next time fellas take it easy :upyeah:

  9. Yeah sorry I didnt make it over Clive, but you know what Jim's like and when he said he was hungry then that was that

  10. Cheers Ben848. Good ride out, really enjoyed it. Not done much riding in a group before but had a great time. 8 Ducati's, almost a head of hair between us, no accidents or breakdowns just a few minor fluid leaks (bikes not blokes) and no attention from the constabulary.

Glad I had ear plugs though, got serious exhaust envy, I see credit card getting a bashing soon.

  11. Thanks for organising the ride out it was good to out & about with some of the forum members. :upyeah: It was great to ride out the the 8 Ducati's who turn up I almost wished I could of been in one of the villages watching & listening to us all ride past! Yes I'll be up for another just let me know when the next one is going to be.
    cheers
