Seems like it went quite well WorldSBK: Toprak Razgatlioglu: ‘Engine brake is unbelievable’, BMW ‘not far away’ | World Superbikes | News (crash.net)
This, https://www.autosport.com/motogp/ne...tions-of-razgatlioglus-bmw-decision/10472484/ has what is, IMO, a fair summation of the pros and cons. Reading between the lines, it wasn’t going to happen and is now, very unlikely to happen. Andy
Early days i know but I wonder what the other BMW riders are thinking right now hearing those comments, Redding specifically. Will it motivate him slightly more than he appeared to be this season or will he retire altogether and focus on riding pedal power? He seems to enjoy the latter more these days if Insta is anything to go by. Id also be very interested to see what improved engine braking does to Topraks lap times. My spidey senses tell me it wont be as easy or smooth or suit his style as much but im not Toprak sadly and we've all seen what he can do.
