A mate of mine nearly died in one of these, it just left the road and landed upside down and facing the wrong way, lethal.

I had one as a courtesy car Beige, the shame of it still haunts me to this day.

 

See a decent chiropractor, I now go for regular maintenance, don't wait until you're in agony.

 

Did it have the velour interior?

 

Possibly, I would much prefer not to remember too much about it TBH.

Not of the car……absolutely not. I’d gone from a VW Scirroco Storm to an Austin Allegro I actually can’t believe I survived the experience.

That's about how they handled, they had some wierd British Leyland Hydroelastic suspension that lifted the car off the road over 50 mph

i remember the "floppy floorpan" problem and the wheel nut incidents.. all in all, the square steering wheel was the least of it's problems sadly.

 

I thought mine was amazing . It was my first car, it took me to my first job, first night club , first car i had sex in .
