Received my Ducati cover for the Hyper, ordered in the Ducati Manchester November Black Friday deal, it came quicker than I thought it would. So that’s now fitted for the next few weeks.
Took an associate out this morning having decided to ride my Pikes Peak for the first time. That’s 60 miles towards the 625 for the first service. If the weather is as good as it was this morning, the remaining 565 miles won’t take long. As I expected, the V4 is a very different ride to the 1200 Multistrada but I’m looking forward to a very long association with it. Andy
After it being poorly for a while I finished off some wiring tweeks and set the carbs up, running nice now. I use cut down old fairing bits to be street legal while tweeking. Full fairing will be back on soon.
I got a phone call at 5pm out of the blue today to say my new bike is an hour away so as promised here’s the first picture of it
Drove behind a couple of bikes for a few miles, living vicariously remembering when I last rode a motorbike a few weeks ago.
Here’s a better day light picture of it. Obviously I bought it spanked up as I always do , this is its best side!
Taken the horrible plastic heat shield off the Akrapovic can (don't take Pillions) for the following reasons, its a thing of beauty and secondly it's a lot easier to clean all the 'cr*p' of it after a ride.
Started to put the front end back together on the BMW after stripping it down yesterday, replacement headlight is fitted and I’ve stripped and replaced the screen on the tft dash. That’s the two big money items sorted, I took a couple of pictures but I don’t think anyone’s interested in a Beemer .
