Has anyone tried these daylight lights ? I’d rather buy anywhere other than Facebook or eBay, but I like the concept.
It only has 160 lumens, just a positional light. The mounting looks an improvement though in fairness, pity other manufacturers haven’t adopted this. It possible that they they’re selling direct to either keep the final price down or their profits up. It wouldn’t put me off that they sell on eBay or FB. For online products I always use PayPal for the buyer protection.
I commute as often as I can, my front light is an Exposure with many features and settings, but its battery life is average. I was thinking something like this would do for the morning ride which is about 0830-0900 saving the big light for the evening ride which is anywhere between 1500-1800 so i need a light to see where im going as well as be seen. I think I. Going to give it a go.
funny you should say, i did try this a little at one point only half-heartedly for fun, as you do, but because it was greasy and no kneepads we both know how this normally ends if continued.
For the time if year, I got a good week in last week, 146 miles and 13 hours..... This week is somewhat different, blowing a gale and honking it down. Turbo will be spinning plus my commutes will keep me going. Fingers crossed we get a break in the weather next week, I like a crank during the Xmas holidays if i can
Managed to get my Xmas crank in today. 65 lumpy miles on me ribble in the yorkshire dales. Was good to get out, chilly but but good going on the back lanes. Off road is out at the minute for me, it's a watery mud fest round here. Forecast is pretty grim for the rest of the week but if we get a break , I'll be out again.
set out to do my favourite ride on Christmas day but got strong cold rain after a mile and so turned round. This didn't last for long it transpired and wish i'd pushed through, like i would have done ten years ago.
