Ha to my shame ive never cleaned it since i bought it over a year ago and its starting to grow green moss round all the window seals etc and develop a layer of cocker spaniel dust inside I have a very fussy guest coming with me so thought i would spruce it up before i get my ear chewed off all the way there and back.

It possible but not likely given to time of year. The local hand car wash do a good job of my partners Mini Clubman inside and out but they surcharge her for the interior if it’s been a while.
The problem with the hand car wash guys is that if they use a wash mitt then this has washed hundreds of cars, been dropped on the floor (along with the chamois or micro fiber cloth) most likely use the cheapest car shampoo. I wouldn’t even take my works van to our local lads.
How ‘local’ are the lads? Hand car wash and Turkish barbers are veneers for organised crime…. Oh yes…. I do admire their work rate and hardship tolerance though. Rather them than me. And the biggest plus? -My van looks mint!
