I haven't read the small print for this 900ss project. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/17615463...YAda2z7uStPaGnbzlmRTBuxujI|tkp:Bk9SR5zA75mbYw
description is confusing but if sole engine needs the work I think it does then £750 is "all of the money" already.
It’s an interesting read, but it would have to be a labour of love. At the right price it could certainly join my sanctuary for bewildered Ducatis, as I like the history and I do like a challenge, but unless you have most of the parts already on the shelf in good condition, and can do all your own engine work, it is going to cost far more than it will end up being worth (mileage, import and condition) One thing that is a first for me - I have never seen 900ss a swingarm rubbed right the way through from a badly sited exhaust. Plenty with witness marks, but never with an air gap !
It’s a bunch of bits if you have an engine, not worth much more than £750 IMO. It may have bidders waiting until the last moment though as happened to me with a 125 ‘project’.
Multistrada, the mileage and price look ok at the minute, but it hasn't hit the reserve price yet. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/28564034...fRRp5aEsS/7XSxhLzM2zN/wA==|tkp:Bk9SR_C-9rKcYw
916 / 1997 model, it's had the single seat conversion overtime but not from the factory. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/28564259...MgvqIbfF8BIgeO8v5teu/PYf5b|tkp:Bk9SR9LIu4edYw
I love it when they say "absolutely no offers" I really want to ring up and put an offer in even if I don't want the bike .
I think if it had white Ducati decal but just the outline of the letters with the grey showing through and similar on the tank and tail section it might look a bit better,
I'd someone phone the other day and they said my price was very punchy on a four wheel vehicle that's up 4 sale..........tossers!
