So - got all the above done bar washing the car (wife took that to work) so washed the other one.... Which leads to my next statement....as my garage is packed i moved the zed out on to the driveway so i had some space to work....while it was out (we live in a cul-de-sac)....fucking scroat on a motocross 125 (looked like a kmx of some sort) slowly went up the road - looped back onto the pavement and clocked my zed....so im now on edge a bit....move the hyper and rsv4 to my nextdoor neighbours house, Dads 400/4 will be leaving tomorrow night for mates place leaving just the zed which i use for work every day...phoned the filth to let them know that scroats were casing the place - apparently last night there were a few kiddies in the road at 1.30am ish going up and down slowly as well.... i asked what i was within my rights to do...nothing apparently - i told if i get the chance ill be stabbing the tyres of their bike so they cant get away....she told me the line was being recorded and i would be prosecuted for criminal damage...lol..on another (very probably stolen bike!) - it is what it is...
Wedge the garage door from the inside so it can’t be opened if you can and maybe put a cheap camera in there to monitor it. Failing that sit in garage in the dark with a shotgun. The police won’t help you.

Well, since the sunday naer-do-well spotting nothings happened but, thats kinda galvanized me in to taking steps.... 1. Initially now leave the car butted right up to the garage doors. 2. Researching changing the wooden garage doors with a roller shutter door. 3. Had a burglar alarm which courtesy of a slack mate half set it up about 15 years ago. So, ordered new upto date alarm panel which is on its way....luckily 20 years ago when i renovated the house i put all the cabling in to everywhere where i needed it so theres a load of wiring going into the garage...the panel is live in there but once the panel turns up im gonna have a crash course in alarm wiring and programming....so door trips, loud fucking siren and PIR are already in place... 4. Security camera checked and recording 24/7 5. Two bikes moved out to a neighbours house while im doing the work.
If I may make a small suggestion, include a high db, repeater siren, inside the garage itself. Noise at that level will make trying to undo your physical security measures, difficult. Andy
