anyone here fit or has had a recent fitment of new external doors and or patio/French doors please? Ideally what's a 3 metre wide by say 2 metre high hard wood or engineered wood frame with quality glass and fixings plus fitted going to cost these days? ta
You say that I’ve got them in another part of the house and they very rarely get opened .. to the point it’s a waste!
Feck me I must put my prices up, guess it has auto lock at that price, I normally fit quality composites for around a grand for standard colours and £1200 for contemporary colours
We’ve ordered 2 sliding doors, the opening is 3200, and they were around £4k IIRC. I wanted bi-folds, they’re the same price as sliding doors pretty much, but the salesman made a very good point and said that if the majority of the time they’re closed, get patio doors (less framework), or if they’ll be open most of the time, get bi-folds.
