748 Ducati 748/916 Clutch Hose Routing

Discussion in '748 / 916 / 996 / 998' started by Craig Hurst, Jan 16, 2024.

  1. Guys. I’m rebuilding a 748 and I am replacing the old rubber clutch hose with a steel braided hose. I can’t find a picture anywhere showing how it is routed from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder. Between the fork leg and headstock? Behind the frame? Where it’s clipped etc?
Any help or photos would be greatly appreciated.
    Many thanks.

  2. Here are two drawings from the 748/916 1994 shop manual, showing the OEM routing (check for the doted lines when routed behind something). On my bike, I routed it behind the frame as much as possible.
