41t conversion

  1. Hi thinking of having 41t conversion to help in traffic and small roundabouts. anyone else had it done ? Really keen to hear comments before I part with my cash !!!!!!!

  3. Well, I'm assuming you're talking about putting a larger rear sprocket on. If that's the case it's well worth doing; you'll get better town running and more vivid acceleration everywhere, and it costs peanuts to do. There is no down side.
     
  4. Ok thanks for that ! Sounds like a no-brainier . Do you know of any other mods that makes it easier to live with ?

  7. Will using an odd size sprocket not wear the chain more than it should (?) over the standard sprocket ?
     
  8. just has the upgrade + upmap done on the Pani !....much better !..pulls harder low / mid and drives hard to the redline..well worth it

  9. Had mine done yesterday (41T), except some plonker ordered the wrong front sprocket (I also went to a 520 chain) - a 14T!

    Now goes like a scalded cat, but too much of a handful - have ordered the 15T to replace it. Looks sweet though:-

  10. 520 on a pani?

    Your either braver than me or your gonna change it very regular.....

  12. Have 42 in the rear... pritty powerfull... kept it on 525 though.... 520 is for racing an needs a 1500 mile replacement if you're on the carefull side...
