You can't give those away. It's a shame, they are a good bit of kit. I was looking if I could use it for a project of mine but the strange angle of the gas reservoir makes it a non starter for my needs.
dude i know, but if they are in my garage from a lot time... it's time to give them away... im happy if someone grab it for use in his project or other things.
Alright. Bit tricky to get 100% accurate measurements with the shock installed but it's 310ish mm eye to eye. I checked the Ohlins website and their upgrade shock for the 695 states 305mm and the corresponding HyperPro unit comes in at 330mm (oveall length) so I'd say it's about right.
Even if by chance the length and stroke is similar, I can't see how that going to fit a 695 with the gas reservoir hanging off it at that angle.
Hi Dear, so this showa maybe can fit but you need to eliminate the reservoir under your seat... i give you a better idea... if you wanna a good upgrade, better you check a shock absorber from s4r monster
Thank you for the honest response and advice! I know people who would've just sold me the part and then claimed ignorance when it doesn't fit. I'll look for one of those.
