I was having to give a diabetic cat insulin injections out in that. Every 12 hrs, in 6" of snow, sat on a bench with a garden parasol strapped to the back and a battery-powered camping light hanging from it. Supposedly the coldest reading in the country was just up the hill at Andoversford (and the hottest, a summer or two before, at Cheltenham Race Course. Truly bizarre!). One night I sensed something behind us, looked round, and there's a fox, three foot away, looking at us. Though it scarpered when I said hello.

Was going to post earlier today saying "leaving on a jet plane", sadly I know when I'll be back again Arrived in Barcelona, had lunch and a few Estrellas in Bar Lobo and now chillin' in our suite in the H1898 whilst Carole goes for a swim and a sauna. Going to be serenaded by a Brazillian singer later, whilst we imbibe in the roof top bar It's not been all straightforward, forgot my meds but Boots at the north terminal came to the rescue. Thankfully my prescription was in an App on my phone. Planning to visit a craft brewery tomorrow, you will begin to see a theme of food and beer Andy
Up early for a gym session/ swim. Got my folks over tonight, so I’m doing slow cooked roast lamb with all the trimmings, including homemade truffled cauliflower cheese. Lashings of red wine will be consumed.
Brilliant, have a good time. I think I may have stayed in the very room , or one modelled on it. Don’t know if history is your thing but the walk through Barcelona following George Orwell’s time there I found interesting, especially as the tour leader at the time was my daughter!
Watched as the tumble dryer was condemned by the engineer. Any recommendations please, must be available in grey or silver. And when did heat pump tumble dryers get so bloody expensive?
I've been waiting on a ebay buyer that said they're coming this afternoon with the cash for the goods, but they failed as usual with contact after phoning me this morning. I just don't get folk that can't perform.! Anyway this sign cheered me up on the return trip back from Horsham after visiting metal fabricators that f@@ked up on a clients job.
