I am fairly new to Ducati forum and Ducati's but have a wide interest in most motorcycles.Time to move on or sell my recently restored 1979 ORIGINAL PAUL DUNSTALL SUZUKI GS 1000 CAFE RACER,8,000 miles and a stunner! Will consider swap or sale but I'm particularly interested in 1970/80s Japanese 2 strokes if anyone has one about them.If you want to know more I can send you spec and full build sheet?

SPECIFICATION : 1979 SUZUKI GS 1000cc with frame by Paul Dunstall (of Barry Sheene fame) with original Dunstall chassis tag on rear down tube of frame.Sat in a garden shed for over 30+ years and fully stripped down to every last nut and bolt.Engine oil had emulsified so engine wasn't economically viable so 8,600 replacement correct unit was sourced,stripped,checked and serviced.Restoration includes : bigger carburettors x 4,rebuilt forks,all brake calipers,discs,pads and new braided hoses,new battery,all new bearings,chain and sprockets.K and N filters,Laverda Jota ace bars,Dunstall 4 into 1 stubby exhaust system (sounds amazing),new paintwork,new tyres and shock absorbers,Raask racing rearsets,period cafe racer seat,workshop manuals and books,MOTD until 16/07/2016,handles great,looks fantastic and sounds amazing!Draws crowds wherever you pull up.Will swap for 1970/80s Japanese 2 stroke up to same value but no projects,shed builds or basket cases please. Cash price is £2995! - that is a fraction of build cost and market value - can only increase in value
