  1. Remade a bracket for the exhaust on my Honda scrambler that snaps every 500 miles and then went for a ride for a couple of hours around the back lanes on it.

  2. What is your opinion of it, please?

  3. It’s good…. Nice fit, well made, comfortable……obviously not ridden in it yet.

  4. Cheers, is it true to size?

I’m expecting to buy one for the summer, myself.

  5. Mine should arrive here in two weeks time, hope it's a bit warmer by then :joy:

  6. No……it says on the Sportsbikeshop website site they are smaller fitting.I'm normally a medium, but that size was tight on me so I ordered a large and that fits well :)

  9. Old belts off.
    New belts on.
Tension still to do but have to go to Sainbury’s as I’m cooking later.

  10. Fitted an electronic fuel cap onto the MSV4S replacing the key operated one, why it doesn't come standard on a keyless bike I don't know. At least it works without having to get the dealer to activate it.

  11. Dead jealous, Sam. Been at least 15 years since I did that route. :)

  12. Had a ride over to my dealer. Bought a Ducati wool hat. Drank their hot chocolate.

  13. Had a trip over to Ducati Coventry, had a good chat with Jason, very helpful, friendly fella, bought a few bits for the 996, drank their hot chocolate, ordered some more bits, will be going back again in a few weeks when the bits arrive

  15. Jumping in here, I’ve had one for the last 3-4 years or so. I wear it all the time but I do remove the armour from my outer jacket(s). It’s a snug fit and you just know the armour will remain in place in the event of an off. In the summer, it’s really all that’s needed. I think it’s a great piece of kit and highly recommended.
No, get a size larger than their online size guide says. I ordered the correct size for me according to their size chart but had to return it for the next size up as I could barely zip it up. Even now it’s a snug fit but it’s meant to be.

  16. If that’s what jumping in is, then please feel free to continue doing it:upyeah::)

That’s exactly the type of feedback I wanted to hear.

Having read your post, am I correct in thinking that the proper sized Knox can be worn and fit well, under your usual size outer jacket that has the armour removed? ie. No need to go up a size on the outer jacket?

  18. Cheers, thank you:)

  19. Yes. I had a variety of outer jackets when I got the Urban Pro and it fits under all of them no problem. I’ve bought one new jacket since and I got that in the usual size I would, there’s no need to go up a size in the outer jacket at all.

  20. Fitted red reflectors to the rear of the Pikes Peak’s panniers. Had thought to go for out for a ride but the temptation of a roast dinner and a pint down the pub won out :D Andy
