  1. At Cadwell last week i only managed 98dBs! Just thought i'd mention it!
To think i was slightly concerned....

  2. Not bad...99 my soelf Sunday at Snett then mon, same tester 102 'and a bit but I'll let you off'

  3. Is that all you could manage

  4. Mine's bigger than yours - 109!!! Then 104 with the baffles.

That was at Castle Combe so I am not 100% sure they test it correctly.

  5. PAHHH, mine was 115 (with baffles fitted) at Castle Doom, mind you they do make you rev to 3/4 revs and put the meter almost in the exhaust.

  6. Mine was 102 at Rockingham with the clutch loaded up, then 106 with the bike in neutral. How we laughed!

  7. Think the 'Prilia was something like 115 but that was at 5500 revs...ouch!

  8. this is a common misconception. the actual sound meter is what the guy has in his hand the long rod attached to it that they put on/near the exhaust is just to get a certain distance away...

  9. at Brands my 916 was 103.3db with baffles in..... a little 2inch wide strip of wadding wrapped around each baffle and it went down to 96db ????
