Users with some I.Q. You cant have an interesting conversation or debate with a total moron. This forum seems to have a much better intellectual profile than most, yer a fantastic bunch of people. :smile:
I dunno if intelligence is required, more the case that you need people with something to say, people who aren't afraid to voice their opinions. It doesn't really matter if it's put in a simplistic way. And a decent sense of humour goes a long way too.
I agree, you need a few characters, people that can post stuff that really does make you laugh out loud.
Well exactly. You're not exactly pulling your weight, are you El T? For example, there's a joke thread but you never choose to contribute to it.
I never hear good quality jokes these days - often have to cheat and search for them. Am I the only one who remembers what seemed like a stream of (apparently at the time) side-splittingly funny jokes as you lined up in the playground? Tended to take them for granted until I left school.
Diversity .. Always good.. I hate over moderation so glad we don't have it. I like The Lounge it's easy going and makes me laugh. I have had some great random acts of kindness on forums including this one which meant a lot to me... It's very relaxed most of the time here. I have belonged to one where if you accidentally broke wind it would be bar for life and your head on a pole ! It's was dire and surprise shut down . My pre Ducati days! Was dire place great for tech stuff but say anything else and it was worse then standing outside head masters office waiting for the cane
