So, took the bike back to the dealerlast weekend, they inspected and rebalanced the front wheel which was way out. this made a bit of a difference but didnt cure the wobble as I discovered on the way home. Spoke to the dealer and explained, booked the bike in for its 600m service and took it in yesterday. they did the service, replaced the front tyre under warranty and everything is now sorted. Happy days
didnt say what the problem was but the brand new tyre appears to have fixed the issue so all is good. havent been able to ride it since though, bloody weather
My 2022 V4s suffered the same plight. If you took hands off the bar it was pull to the left and wobbled. I rode around the problem until the rear tyre was at the limit. At the end of last year I spooned on a set of PR6s and static balanced the wheels. All the problems went away. The bike tracks straight and has no sign of front end wobble. I wouldn't fit the Scorpion 2 tyres to anything now. I think the quality control is not the best. Glad you got yours sorted.
Different bike and tyres, but I had Michelin Road 6 fitted to the GS at the back end of last year. The bike tips/pulls left with hands off the bars now. Read about this elsewhere and thought ‘bs’…but it isnt! Brilliant tyres otherwise, but not a trait I like. Wonder if tyre manufacturers are not watching the quality the way they used to, as the Conti Road Attack 3 I had fitted last year did not have the same feel as previous pairs (probably been through 10 sets on different bikes, so I know them well) Bloody expensive now as well.
