Which Diagnostic Tool For 749 With Ecu Siemens?

  1. I have a 749 with a Siemens ECU. Does anyone know what diagnostic kit I should buy for my 2004 Bike please? I have to sort the TPS out because it is cutting out whenever I come to a stop?

  2. Are you sure it's a Siemens? The 749 and 999 bikes are usually fitted the Marelli IAW5AM ECUs.

    I thought it was Siemens from what I have been reading for a couple of days, but I could be wrong

  9. Ah ha - no I haven’t my man. I assumed I had to register with my email et cetera and then I would get an access key or something but if you are saying go ahead and connect I will as I’m fairly sure I have a USB adapter from another bike. I assume the adapter to connect PC to the bike is a standard lead?

  11. It'll be a Marelli. The siemens never went in a 749/999.
