Hi all OK , so i have now bought a MY22 Ducati Panigale V4 which is being delivered to me late this week . I am now saying goodbye to My 23 model M Sport BMW S1000 RR , Its like splitting up up with an old girlfriend that you asked to move in with but just didn't work out so you ask her to leave , "I might see you again & i might ride you again but not sure how i feel about you anymore " - The V4 is for Euro track use only so here is the list of parts i have splashed out on & waiting to be fitted as soon as she arrives ,,,,,, They do say its all about the ownership experience "RIGHT",,,,,,,,,!!!!! I am still on the hunt for an Ohlins TTX rear shock & full set of Ducati race fairings ,so if anyone has or would like to sell either of these please PM me ASAP. Ill post some pics of the V4 once its here with all the accessories fitted. I suppose i am now a Ducatisti FFS,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,suspension will be dialed in by MCT. Also just in case you thought i missed it , I am thinking about what lightweight wheel set to replace stock OEM ones , suggestions on where to best deal on wheels are welcome,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I am OK with leaving ABS on it saved me big time on the back straight in Almeria , there is a true story behind this that involves Leon Haslam & his father.
The ABS is pretty solid. Mine’s also track only and I’ve never experienced it kicking in under hard braking. Euro’s only? You can go full tonto with an exhaust system
A 998 in 1998? Shurley schum mishstake But yeah, the 9** bikes have held up very well. Nostalgia and the most beautiful motorbike ever made helps.
It's the lack of feel and lever travel that made me get rid. You could pull the lever right back to the bars. That was new fluid as well
I’m at Jerez end of march too I have a spare Ducati performance track fairing and carbon belly pan …. where are you in the uk?
