Some footage of Red Leader Kevin Sorry for the wobbly footage.......must sort a better mount position on the front.
Quick question for everyone who attended: how did your bikes get on with the Noise Nazis? I run the 70mm Termis (normally without the baffle) and am wondering if it would get on a 102 or 105db day? Or would I need to stick the baffles in?
Without wanting to be a ppophet of doom .... you have no hope whatsoevver without baffles .... I failed with the 996 on 50mm termis and had to fit baffles, even with the baffles it registered just short of 102db and without was in excess of 105db !!! Other bikes that failed were a 1000cc Monster with Leo Vince cans, that needed bafffles, poor Everton had to stick the full standard exhaust back on his Aprilia after getting a reading of c109db on his RSV4R, basically most the rid were running baffles ... it was baffletastic by the end of the day .....
Cheers Dibble. I wouldn't be surprised if the R didn't get on with the open 70mms. I've taken it to Silverstone a couple of times, but somehow never been noise tested. With so many Ducs at Snet, I was curious... but it would not surprise me if the R is significantly over 105. I noticed that FE rent out a Panigale for their trackdays... how do they get away with it I wonder?!
Panis have a dispensation by MSV at Snett and Oulton I think it is, as although they are loud at static testing they are actually quiet on the move, DesmoDave tested at 109db on his and was allowed out ....
I think you can just spot my sorry 'rse as you thunder past  Snetterton was boggin hard work Great company, though, of course
The guy who went off trying to stuff me up he rear has posted it on youtube..he was less polite in overtakes ;-)
