Loomies, Not Just Rubbish But

  1. I thought they were supposed to be gluten free green experience 'safe zones' these days - to attract the new crowd. :D

Been to this one as well, late summer last year. It looks empty from the outside but it was mostly busy with builders in fluorescent jackets from the nearby building site. Huge bowl of porridge and golden syrup could not even finish it.

    Enjoyed that.

  3. How long before you have to buy a ticket online to visit at weekends though?
I've been to the one by Stratford a couple of times when it used to be free, and wouldn't go out of my way to make it a destination.

  4. I’m sure the locals are going to be delighted. Given the current ongoing problems in the area caused by a small number of inconsiderate riders, I’m gobsmacked the local council gave Caffeine and Machine planning permission for the change of use. Andy

  5. Nah....Plod will like the extra revenue generated by non locals who forget the average speed cameras exist.

  6. Get ready to pay for parking and mega expensive food. It’s more a car-restaurant than a biker-caff. Surrounds and food are nice tho, and will not be in the same competition bracket as Loomies.

  7. Well aware of this before posting, having checked them out when they first arrived on the scene, nothing wrong with a bit of tongue in cheek though is there? C & M haven't confirmed format for West Meon yet, but will probably be similar to the other two once established.

  8. Went to Caffine and Machine once. Thought it was shite. Full of dickheads in lowered cars and shit music.

  9. Anywhere that’s a ‘meeting spot’ I pretty much avoid, same as podium place in Newbury, love the idea of the place but last time I was there everyone who visited felt the need to be doing 9k revs away from
The carpark and generally being a cock, in the middle of Newbury, which will just lead to it being shut down

  10. Been to C&M In stratford end last season, just rocked up and asked if we could park up and not pay. they didnt mind at all. if i would have been asked to pay i would have not stayed.

  11. One of the coffee shops in our town does a coffee and cars morning every second sunday of the month. Despite multiple signs up asking their customers to respect their neighbours, the usual gang of helmets in their m3s and porsches are ragging it past my house and down the hill by mid morning. Wont be long before its shut down (not by me of course).

  12. I used to frequent H Cafe in Oxford, nothing special but it's out in the country and amongst some great roads.

13 bends of death was by far my favorite Sunday blast road back in the day.

  13. Had some fun on those bends in my youth. full of potholes now

  14. Oh, less than ideal. I've not been up that area for around 15 years.

  15. I frequent Torque Moto cafe near Horsham, The coffee is really to notch as it should be as they are a bean importer.

  16. They could learn a lot from the cycling cafes, top end coffee and snacks.
I guess there's still this perception that 'bikers' still wear denim cut offs adorned with status quo patches and the only food they're interested in is a grey sausage roll washed down with a mug of builder's tea.

  17. A sausage roll and a nice strong brew sound ideal tbh.
