Not yet. Had a couple of setbacks but keeping positive.

Got the email to say all done but boot lid seal is leaking and needs replacing. Service reasonable at £920 but seal £425 plus fitting.

 

That's one of several words that came to mind.

 

What’s the seal made from? Unobtainium?

 

Doubt it, but it will have Aston Martin printed on the box. Say no more.

 

Well £1346 and it's back home. Arrived to pick it up at the agreed time and it was sitting outside reception ready for me, absolutely spotless inside and out, everyone I met was friendly and welcoming and greeted me by name and was happy to stop and chat.
Cannot fault the level of service and attention, it's so nice to go into somewhere and be treated with total courtesy at all times.

 

They’d just made £1000 profit out of you, of course they were nice!

So less than if I had a Rangy or Jag serviced at a JLR dealer then?
