Sargent Low Seat.

  1. Anyone have any experience of the Sargent Low Seat ?

do you like it better than the stock seat or the Ducati Comfort / Low Seat.

I like the Stock Seat riding position on my 2011 S Sport but just wondering if the Sargent would be better for getting you feet down or easier for paddling about and parking up ?

    thanks . . Dave.

  2. I'd be interested in knowing this as well

  3. I've got one on order so I'll let you know.

  4. How long and how much if you don't mind me asking. Please let me know whenit comes im very interested

  5. Seat on back order due to them not having a low seat with black piping; due mid August.
Here is a link to the site i ordered from, shows seat height and price options.
Sargent Ducati Multistrada 1200 Front Modular Motorcycle Seat

I took a flyer really, just hoping that it is no less comfortable than the stocker, so it might be up for sale on here in September :)
What part of the country are you?

  6. Cheers mate. I looked myself the other day and it was around 370 for low seat I think. The low seat I slightly power than to Ducati low seat I bought which wasn't really low enough for me with a pillion. I'm close to ordering myself and sending low seat back to the dealer

  7. Have you recieved the seat yet?

  8. Advised that its in the country and delivery to me expected this week sometime - I'll let you know

  9. Cool I'm holding off ordering as your the guinea pig. Ha. Got a low seat I'm going to send back to dealer or sell

  10. No problem. I might be selling it to you yet ;-)))

  11. heres hoping ha

  12. Inbound - Seat should be with me by Friday.

  13. Ive one each on my 916 and 1198. Quality is good and theyre comfier than standard. Cant say about what theyre like on other models but ive been happy with them.

  14. Excellent looking forward to hearing how comfy it is and whether it gets your feet down much more. Pics as well please

  15. I have a set of standard Sargents on my 2013. Quality is impressive and I know from having their products on other bikes that the customer service is top notch, as it should be for a premium product. Worth noting though the standard seat whilst the same height is wider (more padded) around the neck area. This forces your legs out more when touching down, so will reduce your reach. I'm 5'11 with a 32" leg and it does not cause me an issue. If your shorter then I would definitely consider their "lower" option.

  16. I will def be looking at the lower option if I go ahead

  17. Seats arrived and fitted this afters. They look great. Very nice quality.
Not had chance to get out to see how it feels on the road yet but it does feel quite comfy on the front; just to sit on so far.
There is more room to move around because the pillion seat is not pushed up on your back so much.
The front seat fits snug up around the tank so it does feel as though you can get your feet down a bit better - but not massively so.
I'll report back with more after getting some miles in on them this weekend.

  18. Fooook me Dave. I thought I was anal about cleaning. That thing has never seen an open road. Seats look great by the way, now we wait to see how comfy they are.

  19. I must say it looks loads better than the standard one. Very tempted.

  20. Looks good mate. Bit unsure whether to order or not if you feet aren't down that much more but looks much better and comfortable
