Fitted new o rings to the stags oil pump. It still has an oil leak from somewhere also fitted brighter (better) headlight bulbs. Washed the bike
In the loft to sort out a rat infestation. We were quoted £5000 to sort it out and after a day of pure horror perhaps that would have been money well spent
Fixed the better half’s NordicTrak treadmill. No idea what the issue was but it wouldn’t start & was stuck on max incline, unplugging/reconnecting the main console seemed to trigger an incline reset back to flat & hey presto it was working again. Don’t know if she had left it set to max incline &/or if it just had a control systems hissy fit . I only realised the incline bit when I reconnected the main console and the incline rod started to wind down (when I had the covers off) . Safety warning don’t play with live electrics at home kids it could kill! , me I’ve got qualifications that permit me to be stupid with that stuff!! Or I think that’s what they are for.
Got some miles in on the bike around Cornwall this morning visiting various places then climbed its highest peak this afternoon with 2 eleven year old dogs and a maniac pup they did very well at the rock climbing.
Thanks! Just not happy and decided for once to put myself first. Will work out my next move after a good old sleep or two.
This morning I made “eggs in purgatory” for breakfast and I’ve now just made a pan of chilli con carne to freeze. This afternoon I plan to do the square root of fuck all
Went to start the Monster in preparation for service and MOT tomorrow Battery’s as flat as yesterdays pancake The garage are sending a van out tomorrow for collection.
Booked a week in the French Alps snowboarding which is a pastime I haven’t done in 17 years. Hopefully I don’t get injured.
