no, that's another day! The GP day. Maybe this is why there was a poor take-up - three Ducati track days, two at Brands?
I'll let you know tomorrow - back to work after 2.5 weeks off so need to check if I have stuff on or not. Hopefully should be ok.
Will be there on 27th on my Aprillia RSV novice group as they have opened it up to non Ducati's now as not enough take up from Duke riders. I can't risk throwing my 748 down the road so the RSV comes into play, see you there
I wonder if Ducati will have the same presence on the day, or whether its just going to be a normal track day?
If you check the Focused Events web site you'll see that you pay £20 more for your Ducati owners day than the other users BUT you get free breakfast and lunch along with an autograph session. Ummmmm seems like a bargain.
You could always get the unto graph of the big Marshall that stopped the Ducati rider get even more of a bloody nose from the disgruntled track day rider last month, he's become quite famous of late.
Autographs? Hands up who would feel a right tit asking for Neil Hodgsons autograph or anyone Autograph for that matter. We're not 10!!
The Focused Events date is 9 Sept on GP Circuit. £229, 3 groups. 101dB The MSV date is 27 Aug on Indy ("Mickey Mouse" :wink:andyb) Circuit. £135, 3 groups. 105dB R
101db on the 9th??? That's not the best news, was planning to go to that but alas I swapped the 848 for a Pani and I seriously doubt that'll make 101. What is the deal with MSV and Ducati about that again? For some reason I have it in my head that it's only ride by for noisy days?
Im sure Ive read that Ducati have stated that if the Pani fails on standard pipes your entitled to a refund. Only the Pani and only on standard pipes
The pani is supposed to be a ride by test, not a static. Pani only. Std pipes static come out a t about 105-107db. For some reason the termis are quieter.
How is it that Ducati seem to be able to dictate to circuit owners how to test their bikes for noise? I just can't see how tracks will allow owners of a Pani (not to be confused with a Pan the motorcycle of choice for thousands of IAM members) to have a drive by noise test what happens on circuits that don't have monitors around the circuit?
