Mv Agusta F3 Rosso, Lovely New Bike!

Discussion in 'Other Bikes' started by Sicilian, Oct 4, 2022.

  1. Since last posting in this thread I have really gone “all in” with the F3 RC. A lovely bloke called Rob supplied me with race fairings, header pipes and other bits.
Then we went to Jerez last September.
This bike just loves corners and I managed a PB 2:00 lap, beating my 1199 lap time from the year before.
It went a bit tits up when the oil filler came loose, oil hit the rear tyre and I got airborne at turn six.
Undaunted, I have now gone for the blipper conversion and 148 bhp.

  2. Good to hear you have stuck with it. I do think I’ll have another at some point, maybe to go alongside the 899 but we will see.

  3. Pretty sure I was there. Track was shut for ages if I remember right

  4. That was for the NL instructor who forgot to pull over when your bike is pissing out oil down the back straight…..:worried:

  5. I had no issues insuring the MV F3 Rosso through Bennets during my ownership, it wasn't overly expensive either. Nothing like insuring my Pani V4S now.

  6. Thanks.
    Will give them a try.
Did you add the MV on with other bikes. This was the big problem I found?

  7. Yes multibike policy. They had to send it for referral due the 'Rosso' model, but cost was in no way extortionate.

  8. I was with Bemoto on my F3, no issues, price was within £25 of the Panigale V2 I switched from

  9. Sicilian,Is that your F3 up for sale at Lincolnshire motorcycles ?

  10. Looked at a couple today at KJM Superbikes.
One wraped in Ago. colours and the other in matt black.
The wrap was top notch,no sign of any edges showing. Are the fairings normally removed to do this because these ones must have been.
    No idea myself.
Not sure how to put the link to KJM but I would appreciate anyones thoughts on these two bikes.

  11. Those are the ones.
    Thanks

  12. be really careful with MV… I wouldn’t touch a pre Euro 4 bike with a barge pole, even for example between 2020 and 2021 they change the rear carrier for a much better stronger item, honestly the changes in MV between 2017 and 2022 is like 15 years of Ducati change… they needed it.

mine was a 2021 Euro4 and it really was superb, I’d really really done my homework on them, even phoned the previous dealer to get history of my particular bike when I bought it.

happy to share any other info. My understanding is that the Euro 5 ones (the Rosso) has several changes again like quieter and stronger (again) clutch

  13. Nice:upyeah:.
Completely motorbikes have a 72 plate ex demo with only 52 miles on at £13495.
Might be able to get it for a tad less.
Have spoke to the guys down there and it's also free collection of the bike for any service done on the bike.
That would be a massive plus for me.
    What do you think?

  14. can’t go wrong with that mate, if it’s the same as my one they have 3 year warranty and you could purchase an extra year pretty cheap

  15. Yes it is. Only reason I sold it was I had to tick off a Pani V4S from my list. Out of the ones you've posted I'd buy my old one, its literally like a brand new bike. Still has MV Warranty until I think mid 2025. I'd spent loads of money on it:

Its got extra's worth over £3800! **LINCONSHIRE MOTORCYCLE HAVE ALL THE ORIGINAL PARTS.**
    Fresco Trio exhaust £2000
MV Agusta Corse F3 Rider seat £145.00
Puig Racing screen Light Smoke £76.99
MV Agusta Special parts adjustable racing rearsets £550.00
MV Agusta Special parts tail tidy £110.00
Rizoma Sequential Indicator VISION - Dynamic LED rear indicators £190.00
Rizoma Stealth Mirrors and front LED indicators kit £475.00
    TWM adjustable articulated levers £225.00
    Motografix tank protector £25.95
PPF Kit sides of tank £40.00

MV F3 Rosso is basically whats now called the F3 R and retailing for over £16k!
