V4 Denali Soundbomb Mini

  1. For those that aren't sure whether to or not, I've fitted one to my V4S Sport. It took 5 minutes and I left the original bracket where it was and the original nut was also re-used with some threadlock. I took some video for the sound comparison but the site forum doesn't allow direct uploads.

  3. Do I just remove the bolts visible under the front beak if I want to do the same then ?
    Thanks for sharing.

  4. Yes, there's 4 screws, undo them and remove the black plastic cover underneath the beak. Then you only need to remove the 10mm lower nut and the 2 wires. Repeat in reverse for the new soundbomb but you may need to rotate it to make sure that the cover doesn't hit when replacing.

  5. Hi , I don't suppose you have any images of the orientation of the soundbomb mini once fitted , no matter which way I turned it I just couldn't get the cover to sit back in place to tighten up all 4 screws, more than once attempting to get it in situ the captive u nuts would ping off !
    Any guidance appreciated.
    Thanks.

  8. Brilliant , thank you very much.

  9. Also got this horn, it's loud.
If you try to fit it and it just clicks, chances are the bracket is too stiff. It need flex to work. The more flex the more noise.
    Upt.

  10. That’s the one piece unit, yes?

Im guessing the 2 piece version where the compressor & trumpet are seperate might be easier to fit? Anyone have any experience with it on a V4 variant?

  11. If you go for the two piece variant you'll have to fit a relay, this one is fine on the normal horn wiring.
