Thank you, Chris! It’s been a while but think appropriate to be here without owning a Ducati. There’s a few more adverts than I remember from before but I’m sure I’ll eventually get back into the swing of things. My own forum on Alt bikes has pretty much been shut down by 1000’s of bots bombarding it so I should have more time to look in here now
Looks like Rain stopped play unfortunately - but the Ducati Bournemouth day next weekend is looking hopeful
DOC meet at Newlands officially aborted today - John is still going in case of stragglers, and so so am i.
good turnout at Newlands, considering serious flooding, Rykas have got their screen up for the F1, do not zoom in for results!
It was lots of fun.. Smaller and felt more nimble than my 996.. lower turned faster, despite being on crappy old tyres.. No where near as punchy as the 996. But absolutely lovely sound from the intake when you gas it... more noise from the airbox than the exhausts. amazing. Held a line JUST like the 996... and was a lot of fun once moving. Slow manouver and turning radius sucks... mirrors grab your throttle hand and it revs itself... Ducati life...
if you're out and about dahn here this weekend, then safety aside, best mode of transport is the motorcycle. Never mind Carpe Diem, it's Carpe Solem just lately.
