had a rideout over Dartmoor this lunchtime, stopping at the warren house inn for a cider, then over to calstock for a half before home, cracking weather today

 

dont forget, the customer is always right , captain peacock.

Managed to dig out large part of lawn, and a surprising amount of earth -several tip runs- and prep/level for laying a decent number of paving slabs to extend the patio. It was bloody hot doing that mind.

Get it done promptly and I can go out and play on the 916 on Friday!

 

Got my bike back today and I hit a milestone...
10,000 kms / 6000 miles on the clock since I bought it last year July 23 who said that this bike will be a show queen?

 

I bought a bike trac.

 

Went and looked at my new diavel ready for collection in the 1st!

Red stripe. Could of had a good deal on a carbon, but didn't like it.

initial impression from the test ride. It can do everything the 848 does, but in comfort. Well for me anyway. And the mirrors work.

finished early again today, home by 11 ( normally my busy period being summer an all ) any went out green laning, for those who are interested some pics, 1. crossing the tamar river at low tide. 2. crossing some farmland ( Dartmoor in distance) 3. crossing Dartmoor ( buckland over to grenofen) , a great day to get out in the sun
